Katy Perry, Lauren Sánchez Set To Fly To Space With Blue Origin’s All-Women Mission

As a part of the Blue origin’s space mission, Katy Perry and the other crew members will board the New Shepard rocket. There are a few companies that are actually making dreams of people going into space true.

Pop icon Katy Perry is all set to go to space as part of Blue Origin’s all-women space tourism mission. This mission will take a crew of six female passengers, including Jeff Bezos’s fiancée Lauren Sánchez, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, producer Kerianne Flynn, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, and journalist Gayle King.

A video shared on X showed all the crew members dressed in blue, with smiles on their faces, ahead of beginning their 10-minute journey to space. The flight will last approximately 10 minutes, taking the group more than 100 kilometres (62 miles) into the sky and providing a few minutes of weightlessness before descending.

Notably, Blue Origin is among a few companies that are actually making dreams of people going into space a reality. As part of the mission, Katy Perry and the other crew members will board the New Shepard rocket.

What Happens In Space?

What will happen when Katy Perry, journalist Gayle King, and the other four crew members reach space, and what exactly is the space they are heading to? Is it when the sky changes from blue to black? Is it where the atmosphere becomes so thin that it no longer affects the flight’s physics?

When And Where To Watch Live Streaming?

The NS-31 crew will fly to space at 7:00 p.m. IST. It will also be live telecast, allowing viewers to be part of their experience. Viewers can watch the live telecast on Blue Origin’s X social media handle. It will be hosted by Charissa Thompson, Kristin Fisher, and Ariane Cornell.

In a post on X, Blue Origin shared a picture of all six crew members and wrote, “The NS-31 crew is certified ‘ready to fly to space’ by CrewMember 7 Sarah Knights. The launch window opens tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. CDT / 13:30 UTC. You can watch the live webcast here tomorrow at 7 a.m. CDT, hosted by Charissa Thompson, Kristin Fisher, and Ariane Cornell.”
